The department of DM & CD uses satellite phones which are used during various disasters to avoid hindrance to communication. The satellite phones are kept in the custody District Magistrates of all the districts of the State. Besides these satellite phones, the Department of DM & CD has also provided satellite phones to Police and Forest Department.
