With reference to notification no. 1926 -DMCD-11017(99)/5/2024 dated 2th August 2024, to further strengthen and reinforce the SDRTs and to cover the remaining districts of the State, which are less prone to disasters it has been decided by the department to set up five State Disaster Regional Response Teams (SDRRTs) at the following places with the operational jurisdiction of districts mentioned against each:-

• The Civil Defence Multi-Disciplinary Center, Hatighisha under Siliguri Sub-division, District Darjeeling: The SDRRT will cover CoochBehar, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, Kalimpong and Darjeeling Districts.
• The Central Training Institute, Gotlu, Itahar, District Uttar Dinajpur: This SDRRT will cover Uttar Dinajpur, Dakshin Dinajpur, Malda and Murshidabad Districts.
• The National Volunteer Force Training Center, 2nd Biswakarma Battalion, Durgapur, District Paschim Bardhaman: This SDRRT will cover Jhargram, Purba Bardhaman, Paschim Bardhaman, Bankura, Purulia, Paschim Medinipur and Purba Medinipur Districts.
• The National Volunteer Force Training Center, Halisahar under North 24 Parganas: This SDRRT will cover Nadia, North 24 Parganas and Hooghly Districts.
• The Cyclone Shelter, Kakdwip Block, District South 24 Parganas: This SDRRT will cover South 24 Parganas, Kolkata and Howrah Districts.
